We manage regular events featuring South African and Australian leaders spanning business, sports, politics and particular industry focus areas.

Our SAA newsletter will keep you informed and celebrates business transactions or developments involving South Africans in Australia, highlighting who is “on the move” taking their next career step, notable new arrivals in Australia and current issues. We have various contributors to the newsletter and welcome any suggested inclusions.  Feel free to contribute and help us highlight the great work being done to Advance Australia!

We provide relevant member to member introductions to help accelerate business connections and actively promote our corporate members to help with business development. Use the corporate directory if you need help with any local services.

Our mentorship program is currently under construction.  Please contact us if you are interested in participating as a mentor or mentee, looking to give back or grow with the support of those who have done the hard yards before you.

We provide opportunities for members to connect with others in their industry and also promote various industry participants our members.  Eg, we work hard at connecting owners with owners, NED, CEOs, CFOs and the various professions.  We also host events like our annual “fundie” event where funds management companies present updates to a South African audience.

We provide connections to new arrivals to help them integrate, by introducing other members in the same industry and relevant service providers to accelerate your settling into Australia from a business perspective.  Refer to our corporate member directory for those who can help you with immigration/visas, accounting, tax, investments, legal, recruitment and more.

We run events for the younger / up and coming stars – if you are under 40 and looking to connect, come to our quarterly mixer.
